This Privacy Policy explains how El Mushaf / المصحف (also displayed in the app as المصحف الشريف) handles information when you use the app.
1. Information used on your device
The app stores your last reading page, font size, night-mode preference, home-screen tile order, notices you have already seen, favorite verses/bookmarks, the highlighted verse, audio listening position and reciter selection, Tawaf and Sa’i completion counters, tasbeeh counts and custom dhikr, and custom Umrah prayers locally on your device. Downloaded Quran recitations are also saved in the app’s local storage for offline playback. These records are not uploaded to a developer-operated server by the current app.
Favorites, highlights and other saved settings use local device storage. The app does not provide online account synchronisation.
2. Location and compass for Qibla
When you open the Qibla feature, the app may ask for approximate or precise location permission. It may use a recent device location and refresh location readings while the Qibla screen is open. It reads your latitude and longitude to calculate the direction of the Kaaba on your device, and reads the device’s compass heading to orient the Qibla arrow. Location and compass readings are used only for this feature; the app does not send them to the developer or audio provider, save a location history, or use them for advertising or tracking.
You can deny or revoke location permission in Android settings. The Qibla feature may then be unable to determine your direction, while Quran reading remains available. The app does not request background location permission.
3. Internet access and Quran audio
Quran text and the bundled reading content are available locally. Streaming or downloading recitations requires an internet connection. Audio requests go to cdn.islamic.network, the Quran audio service used by the app. Requests identify the requested recitation and verse; the server also receives your IP address and ordinary connection information needed to deliver the audio. The app does not attach your location or locally saved reading settings to these requests.
The audio provider may process and retain server logs under its own practices, which we do not control. See the provider’s terms and conditions. Mobile data charges may apply.
4. Other Android permissions and device features
- Internet and network state: allow online audio access and checking network connectivity.
- Audio playback: uses the device’s audio output to play recitations; it does not record sound. Some installed builds may use wake-lock and foreground media playback permissions to support background audio and system media controls.
- Local app storage: stores preferences and downloaded recitations. The current Android manifest does not request broad access to your photos or shared files.
- Compass sensors and haptic feedback: support Qibla direction and an alignment alert.
The app does not request camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, phone-call, or advertising ID permissions. Its current code contains no advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting SDK integration. Android may use its own services to supply location; those system services follow your device settings and their providers’ policies.
5. Copying, sharing and external links
When you choose Copy, selected content is placed on your device’s clipboard. When you choose to share text or a generated image, the selected content is passed to the app or service you choose through the system share sheet, WhatsApp, or X. Only use these actions for content you intend to share. The receiving apps and services handle it under their own policies.
If you choose to open a reference or source link, you may visit Quran.com, Sunnah.com, Tanzil.net, or AlQuran.cloud. These websites receive the normal connection information associated with your visit and operate under their own privacy policies. Their handling of information is outside the app’s control.
6. Retention, deletion and security
Local preferences, counters and downloaded recitations remain on your device until overwritten, reset where an in-app reset is available, or removed by clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling it. Clearing storage removes your saved reading settings and downloads. Android’s backup or device-transfer facilities may retain or restore app data depending on your system settings; manage any such backups through your device or backup provider.
Qibla readings are used temporarily in memory and are not written to persistent storage by the app. Audio requests use HTTPS. Local information relies on the device’s app storage protections; no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Audio-provider logs and any system backups have retention rules set by those providers.
7. Children’s privacy
The app does not ask users, including children, to submit personal information or create an account. Network audio and external websites have the information flows described above. Parents and guardians can manage device permissions and internet access.
This policy webpage is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub logs visitors’ IP addresses for security purposes. See the GitHub Privacy Statement. This page contains no added analytics, advertising, cookies, or third-party scripts.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app’s information practices change. The revised policy will appear on this page with an updated date.

١. المعلومات المستخدمة على جهازك

تستخدم المفضلة والتظليل والإعدادات المحفوظة الأخرى مساحة التخزين المحلية في جهازك. لا يوفر التطبيق مزامنة عبر حساب على الإنترنت.
٢. الموقع والبوصلة لتحديد القبلة
عند فتح ميزة القبلة، قد يطلب التطبيق إذن الوصول إلى الموقع التقريبي أو الدقيق. قد يستخدم موقعًا حديثًا للجهاز ويحدّث قراءات الموقع أثناء فتح شاشة القبلة. ويقرأ خط العرض وخط الطول لحساب اتجاه الكعبة على جهازك، ويقرأ اتجاه بوصلة الجهاز لتوجيه سهم القبلة. تُستخدم قراءات الموقع والبوصلة لهذه الميزة فقط؛ ولا يرسلها التطبيق إلى المطوّر أو مزوّد الصوت، ولا يحفظ سجلًا للمواقع، ولا يستخدمها للإعلانات أو التتبع.
يمكنك رفض إذن الموقع أو إلغاؤه من إعدادات أندرويد. عندئذ قد يتعذر على ميزة القبلة تحديد اتجاهك، بينما تظل قراءة القرآن متاحة. لا يطلب التطبيق إذن الوصول إلى الموقع في الخلفية.
٣. الاتصال بالإنترنت والتلاوات القرآنية
نص القرآن ومحتوى القراءة المضمّن متاحان محليًا. يتطلب بث التلاوات أو تنزيلها اتصالًا بالإنترنت. تُرسل طلبات الصوت إلى cdn.islamic.network، وهي خدمة الصوت القرآني المستخدمة في التطبيق. تحدد الطلبات التلاوة والآية المطلوبتين؛ ويتلقى الخادم أيضًا عنوان بروتوكول الإنترنت (IP) ومعلومات الاتصال المعتادة اللازمة لتقديم الصوت. لا يرفق التطبيق موقعك أو إعدادات القراءة المحفوظة محليًا بهذه الطلبات.
قد يعالج مزوّد الصوت سجلات الخادم ويحتفظ بها وفق ممارساته الخاصة، التي لا نتحكم فيها. يمكنك الاطلاع على شروط وأحكام المزوّد. وقد تُطبق رسوم بيانات الهاتف المحمول.
٤. أذونات أندرويد وميزات الجهاز الأخرى
- الإنترنت وحالة الشبكة: لإتاحة الصوت عبر الإنترنت والتحقق من الاتصال بالشبكة.
- تشغيل الصوت: يستخدم مخرج الصوت في الجهاز لتشغيل التلاوات ولا يسجّل الصوت. قد تستخدم بعض النسخ المثبّتة أذونات إبقاء الجهاز نشطًا وتشغيل الوسائط في المقدمة لدعم الصوت في الخلفية وأزرار التحكم بالوسائط في النظام.
- مساحة تخزين التطبيق المحلية: لحفظ التفضيلات والتلاوات المنزّلة. لا يطلب ملف أذونات أندرويد الحالي وصولًا عامًا إلى صورك أو ملفاتك المشتركة.
- حساسات البوصلة والاهتزاز: لدعم تحديد اتجاه القبلة والتنبيه عند محاذاتها.
لا يطلب التطبيق أذونات الكاميرا أو الميكروفون أو جهات الاتصال أو الرسائل النصية أو المكالمات الهاتفية أو معرّف الإعلانات. ولا يتضمن الكود الحالي تكاملًا مع حزم إعلانات أو تحليلات استخدام أو تقارير أعطال. قد يستخدم أندرويد خدماته الخاصة لتوفير الموقع؛ وتخضع هذه الخدمات لإعدادات جهازك وسياسات مزوّديها.
٥. النسخ والمشاركة والروابط الخارجية
عند اختيار النسخ، يوضع المحتوى المحدد في حافظة جهازك. وعند مشاركة نص أو صورة ينشئها التطبيق، يُمرّر المحتوى المحدد إلى التطبيق أو الخدمة التي تختارها عبر قائمة المشاركة في النظام أو واتساب أو إكس. استخدم هذه الخيارات للمحتوى الذي ترغب في مشاركته فقط. وتتعامل التطبيقات والخدمات المستقبلة معه وفق سياساتها الخاصة.
إذا اخترت فتح رابط مرجعي أو رابط مصدر، فقد تزور مواقع Quran.com أو Sunnah.com أو Tanzil.net أو AlQuran.cloud. تتلقى هذه المواقع معلومات الاتصال المعتادة المرتبطة بزيارتك، وتعمل وفق سياسات الخصوصية الخاصة بها. ولا يتحكم التطبيق في طريقة تعاملها مع المعلومات.
٦. الاحتفاظ بالبيانات وحذفها وأمانها
تبقى التفضيلات والعدّادات والتلاوات المنزّلة على جهازك إلى أن تُستبدل، أو تُعاد ضبطها حيث يتيح التطبيق ذلك، أو تُزال بمسح مساحة تخزين التطبيق أو إلغاء تثبيته. يؤدي مسح مساحة التخزين إلى حذف إعدادات القراءة والتنزيلات المحفوظة. قد تحتفظ خدمات النسخ الاحتياطي أو نقل الأجهزة في أندرويد ببيانات التطبيق أو تستعيدها بحسب إعدادات النظام؛ ويمكنك إدارة هذه النسخ من خلال جهازك أو مزوّد النسخ الاحتياطي.
تُستخدم قراءات القبلة مؤقتًا في الذاكرة ولا يحفظها التطبيق في تخزين دائم. تستخدم طلبات الصوت اتصال HTTPS. تعتمد البيانات المحلية على حماية مساحة تخزين التطبيقات في الجهاز؛ ولا يمكن ضمان أمان أي وسيلة تخزين أو نقل بشكل كامل. تخضع سجلات مزوّد الصوت والنسخ الاحتياطية للنظام لقواعد الاحتفاظ التي يحددها مزوّدوها.
٧. خصوصية الأطفال
لا يطلب التطبيق من المستخدمين، بمن فيهم الأطفال، تقديم معلومات شخصية أو إنشاء حساب. تخضع خدمات الصوت عبر الإنترنت والمواقع الخارجية لتدفقات المعلومات الموضحة أعلاه. ويمكن للوالدين والأوصياء إدارة أذونات الجهاز والوصول إلى الإنترنت.
